John Fogerty (CCR)

Creedence Clerwater Revival - Have You Ever Seen The Rain

One new track that doesn't fit is "I Can't Take It No More," which is a raucous anti-Bush punk song (and one of the best punk tracks this year). It's a byproduct of Mr. Fogerty's present sense of familial completeness, inspired by his lifelong garage-band roots and one of his teenage sons' obsessions: the Ramones.

"I was a garage musician when I was a kid, playing stuff that was loud, fast and intense," he said. "I love the Ramones, too, though I didn't get them when they were really hitting it in the 1970s.

"I came to a new appreciation for the Ramones through my son's interest in them. And it isn't as scary and off-putting as I thought it was back in the day. It's actually very melodic and fun." John Fogerty. The Dallas Morning News, interview by Mike Daniel. December, 2007.

John Fogerty. The Dallas Morning News, Entrevista por Mike Daniel. Diciembre del 2007.
